So no, John Cho would not have looked like a loser or manchild by speaking with Katerina as Spike does in the anime, as simply a friendly stranger joking around. Why not take the time to find some fresh meat/new blood. Ive said from the get go that he doesnt fit the role of Spike. Not to mention John Cho isnt an action star, and I expect to see a little bit of Spikes mixed martial arts in the series.
